Yesterday, The Great Gatsby has opened the 66th Cannes Film Festival, so the big discussion about F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic and DiCaprio’s, Maguire’s and Mulligan’s take on it has finally arrived to Europe in full force.
All that curiosity, delight and disapproval has us reminiscing about unforgettable film adaptions before Baz Luhrmann’s - some of which (yes, this one, this one and of course this one!) have made it into our new collection!
From May 15th to May 28th, the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival is going to take place, rewarding the business’ finest with Golden Palms. Opening with a “Great Gatsby” bang on Wednesday, this year’s festival screenings will also include movies like Nicolas Winding Refn’s Only God Forgives, Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring and James Franco’s As I Lay Dying.
